Allosaurus means diffrent lizard i have no idea why they called it that.
Allosaurus lived in the late jurassic period. It is one of the biggest meat eating or theropod dinosaurs. Allosaurus had i crest probably used for display .

Allosaurus is in the Walking with Dinosaurs where it is hunting baby sauropods and attacking a stegosaurus. watching the sauropods go past and in the last part attacking a diplodichus. Allosaurus was also in the bbc series the lost world.
it is also in Dinosaurs roamed america where it hunts sauropods and also kills a ceratosaurus.
